Facing Kamala Harris – Focus on the policy deficiencies in her record
There's plenty of video evidence to make a strong case against her
While we watch a whitewash of Vice-President Kamala Harris’ far left politics, a large inventory of video and official documents exists to refute any claims that she is a moderate or even an old-fashion liberal. She is a San Francisco, ultra-blue leftist and there is no getting around that fact.
The issues facing the country have long range ramifications of her policies are not confined to Washington D.C. panel discussions. They will adversely affect the nation.
Republicans must now commit themselves to strongly focus on what she has done in office. Personal attacks are largely unnecessary given her dreadful public record.
Calmly describing her record, as all over the place as it is, is the best way to articulate why she does not belong in the oval office.
What is that record?
Most recently Harris skipped the address to a joint session to Congress of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on July 24.
What vital function that drew the Vice-President’s interest that day you ask?
She attended the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Grand Boule in Indianapolis, Ind. While her staff claimed it was a previously scheduled event, the fact that she could not see the importance of Netanyahu’s visit is telling.
Israel, as the United States’ closest ally in the region is under full scale attack by Iranian proxies, including Hezbollah (from Lebanon), the Houthis (based in Yemen), Hamas (Gaza’s terrorist leadership) and Iran itself, and needs our clearest sign of support.
Harris’ snub did not show resolve. (And before anyone questions about why the Vice-President’s presence was important, she is the President of the Senate).
Just days later, Hezbollah attacked children playing soccer, killing many, in Israel. Serious business.
Is this kind of sophomoric approach to foreign policy that we can expect from a Harris administration? The safety of our allies and our own nation depend on the answer.
Of course, the border is an issue that includes domestic and foreign relations policy, and one in which Harris was tasked by President Joe Biden on March 23, 2021, to take over issues related to the southern border.
He tasked Harris “to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that help — are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border,” Biden said.
Informally she became known as the “border czar,” and there is no evidence of resistance of that moniker then and for years afterward until now. Whatever the title, her efforts, or lack of efforts, were an abysmal failure using any measure.
One indicator is that she visited the border as Vice-President only once. Ever.
Her supporters feel a strong desire to erase this historical fact despite numerous videos of the Biden handing her this job, and official documents.
Despite the paucity of recommendations on the border, Harris did seek to gain political advantage when she, some members of the media, and many Democrats (including Biden) falsely said that border agents whipped migrants. No correction of the record or retraction of her comments ever emerged.
One of the major failings of border issues is the horrible decision by far-left local governments in several states to institute sanctuary city laws that are in direct conflict with federal law.
When speaking about her home city’s, San Francisco, sanctuary ordnance, she has been very clear.
"I support our 'sanctuary' law," Harris said. While her current and possible job requires her to support and defend the U.S., it is not at all clear how she will reconcile her position.
In perhaps the worst debacle of the Biden-Harris administration, the U.S. quickly departed from Afghanistan, employing haphazard planning, which resulted in U.S. military personnel dying.
Shortly after the departure of troops (while horrifically leaving many U.S. citizens and Afghan allies behind), Harris was all in for the operation. Despite the flawed execution of a flawed plan, shortly afterwards Harris emphatically told CNN that she was last person in the room advising Biden to go with the plan.
She owns it.
Prediction: It will not be long until she disavows the plan, and that she advocated another action.
Harris also supported ideas related to defunding police. She veiled her support using equivocal language.
According to a CNN report, Harris said, “This whole movement is about rightly saying, we need to take a look at these budgets and figure out whether it reflects the right priorities.”
She claimed that “we have to reimagine” and that putting additional police on the street does not add to “public safety.”
On energy needs of the nation, Harris has mostly been focused on destroying American self-sufficiency.
As Harris said in a CNN townhall, “I am committed to…finally putting an END to fracking once and for all.” Her sentiment could not be clearer.
Again, however, her team recognizes this is at once a loser with the electorate (and likely they cringe at its stupidity) and her team now says that her position has changed. So much for a principled stance.
Also look for Harris to revise her stance on various taxes.
She wants to increase the “corporate tax rate,” “increases taxes for the top 1 percent,” and “estate taxes.”
One of President Biden’s often repeated claim that he will let the Trump tax cuts expire in 2025, which would increase taxes for almost everyone paying taxes, while promising not to raise taxes on those earning less than $400,000, means Harris will have a big decision to make. Allowing the tax cuts to expire and not raising taxes is not possible.
It is unclear where she intends to go.
People who were likely the source of several pieces of internal criticism of Harris are now tasked with telling the American people, through a fawning media, not to believe their own eyes and ears, because they know how bad the failure really was.
As evidence that the wider media is falling over themselves to further purge, (in addition to the border czar fiasco), her record of all things that appear progressive.
GovTrack, a supposedly non-partisan outfit, deleted an article that in 2019 as “the most liberal senator.” The liberals at GovTrack understand that she does not track with the vast majority of Americans.
The media has been more than kind with Harris and her current approach to media relations.
She’s had no open press events, instead she has issued statements at a podium and then walked out without taking questions. This appears to be a spin-off of Biden’s basement non-media engagement strategy, only she is doing it in plain sight.
The list is longer than depicted here but one thing is clear, Harris is a far-left politician who is intent on limiting the rights of our citizens through progressive, regulation-heavy policies that are focused on more and more centralized government control of our lives.
She is not equipped through experience or proven results on foreign policy, has little understanding of how our country operates, and has not seen a kooky left policy she does not like.

I believe she has deployed artificial intelligence audio merged with video to show support from the Squatter at 1600 as well as his Puppet Master that lives down the street along with his he/she "wife". I believe she is just a patsy on the way to the DNC. I ponder that once the DNC is called to order, we will see quite the clown show unravel and then the nomination of Killery will happen. ALLLLLLLL the above is just my opinion but holy crap, has there ever been a larger clown show in America? Thanks for all the info/links and the refresher on things I had long forgotten.
You're preaching to the choir of folks that aren't going to vote for Harris anyway. Many Democrats like and support some of her policy decisions, however she'll have time to put together a comprehensive policy positions for a new administration. Trump has been a policy dumpster fire changing positions at will. For example, a couple of years ago he said women who have an abortion should be arrested and jailed. Now because it's politically expedient he says leave it up to the states. Bottomline, this is politics and politicians change and modify positions to get elected. It's the way that it has always been and will continue to be unless the electorate holds the politicians' feet to the fire. Republicans won't do this for Trump and Dems are not going to do it to their candidate either.
